Fun Fourth!

Our tradition for the fourth has been to participate in the Enumclaw Parade with Rusty's family. His sister and her family (4 fun girl cousins for the kids to pal around with) usually come up from Portland and together, we enjoy the happenin' parade down the main drag of Enumclaw. The kids decorate and ride their bikes or get pulled in a wagon. This year, Cole and Mason sat on the sidelines with us in their decorated wagon so they wouldn't miss all the action. We enjoyed the trucks and trailers, several groups of dancers, and lots of animals like dogs, alpacas, and dancing horses.
Waving at the firetrucks was a highlight, as well as hanging out with cousins!

Afterwards, we rode bikes and hung out around Grandpa Bob and Grandma Gena's, had a yummy bbq, and enjoyed some fireworks.

Cole showing off his firework truck he got to light and holding a sparkler:

We all had a great time with family, and are grateful for this free country that we are blessed to be citizens of.
